Livestock
This page will be up next year. It will have lambs and breeding stock for sale. I chose not to breed my flock this year, as I am in the process of moving.
I have thirteen Icelandic sheep. Among them, I have moorit solid, black solid, white pattern solid, black and white spotted, black mouflan, moorit badgerface, and a brown and white spotted ewe. My ram is a gorgeous moorit badgerface. Icelandics throw mostly twins, although triplets and more are not uncommon. Next summer (2010) I would expect to have around 20 lambs for sale - some will be sold for breeding stock, some culled for the ethnic meat market. Lamb is delicious, I’m told!
We also breed Siberian Huskies from time to time. My mom runs a dog sled team. We may have puppies for sale in the fall of 2009.
